Solar Ash takes you from tomorrow on a journey through a surreal world whose demise have to prevent it.
December has — so we have to be honest — not to offer many blockbusters. Besides Halo Infinite there's really nothing more. But that does not mean that the last month of the year is a bad phase for video game fans. There are quite a few interesting titles of smaller developers, as we have noted in our release preview. We start solar Ash, which not only looks promising, but still comes from a studio, which is in itself a real indie hit succeeded.
What is solar Ash?
Solar Ash is about REI. She has the difficult task to save their own planet, which is shortly before the fall. How good that the lady is conversant excellent in two things: the fight with the sword and the fast locomotion. The latter is also the core gameplay element. Although her slits sometimes enemies with your sword, and there are also boss fights, but the focus is on the crossing of surreal environments.
REI races through the dimensional levels, as if she had Rollerblades strapped to their feet. So you move fast through the area and so have to cope with some skill passage. The encounters with enemies should assure variety, but just never come to the fore.
Who did it?
Developers of solar Ash is the small studio Heart Machine from Culver City, near Los Angeles. Which has existed since 2013 and has published his first work in 2016 that you are undoubtedly familiar: Hyper Light Drifter, a 2D action-adventure that's a little reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda, but offers significantly more challenging fights. That came at that time very well. The Metascores on Metacritic for the different versions, except the Xbox One version in all 80 range and Hyper Light Drifter was nominated for several awards, including twice at the Game Awards. When Independent Games Festival, it was also excellent and the double: There was the price for the type design and the Audience Award.
What platforms solar Ash appears?
Solar Ash appears to the PC, but exclusively in Epic Games Store. Who to avoid (for whatever reason), looks fit into the tube or needs to release for the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation. 5 Versions for the Xbox consoles and the Nintendo Switch have not yet been announced.

Today before release is still unclear how challenging solar Ash. But when we think of Hyper Light Drifter, we believe that solar Ash is not a simple game.
