Adrian Fahrenheit Țepeș (アドリアン ・ ファーレンハイツ ・ ツェペシュ, Adorian Fārenhaitsu Tsepeshu), better recognized as Alucard (アルカード, Arukādo), is a fictional character in Konami's Castlevania collection of video clip games. His opening night in the collection was in the 1989 game Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, yet he is best understood for his role in the critically well-known Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, launched in 1997. His style in Symphony of the Night was developed by Ayami Kojima, noting her first contribution to the Castlevania franchise business. In the collection, Alucard is the child of Dracula, the antagonist of the Castlevania collection. As a result of his human mother, Lisa, Alucard is a dhampir, a half-human, half-vampire.
