RB Leipzig: Alexander Sörloth changes to Real Sociedad

The time of Alexander Sörloth at RB Leipzig is finished for the time being. As the club announced, the Norwegian will leave the Saxony again after only one season and switch to Real Sociedad to Spain.

Previously, consistent media reports had already indicated the deal. Pipe Serra from the Spanish TV station Win Sports stated that a lending for 1.5 million euros as well as a subsequent purchase option of 8.5 million euros would be sought.

According to information of the bild, the amounts are even significantly higher: The Europa League participant should pay two million euros for the lending, the purchase option at 15 million. In addition, the Spaniards should take over the complete salary (about five million).

At the first two matchdays of the Bundesliga was the 25-year-old, which RB had cost 20 million euros in the summer of 2020 and is bound by 2025, no longer in the squad of the red bulls. Even Olympique Marseille, the AS Rome as well as clubs from Russia and Turkey are to be interested in a commitment of the large-grown attacker, but the race makes it apparently the baskas.

Sörloth's father Goran had already clarified in Norwegian television in Norwegian television that his son Leipzig will leave 150 percent. This had achieved six goals in 37 games for the Saxony and set up three hits, but could not prevail sustainably. With the obligation of Frankfurt Andre Silva, RB has already tended to a Sörloth's outcome.
