While the development phase of the new Battlefield 2042 is coming to an end, fans are waiting for access to beta, with potentially a date for a short open beta phase. EA is used to predict open beta phases for Games BF and the new franchise opus should not be an exception. A beta open to BF 2042?
For the moment, EA has not officially confirmed the establishment of a beta open on Battlefield 2042. What we know is that the title will benefit from a phase of beta for the players having pre-ordered the Game as well as for subscribers at EA Play Pro. Nevertheless, Dice has always proposed a phase of open beta for its different Battlefield, usually over a few days about a month from the game.
Thus, we turn to a closed beta phase during the month of August and early September, before a week of beta open mid-September. It is even possible that according to the support (Xbox Series or PS5), a first phase of beta is made exclusive, as is often the case on genre games, especially with Call of Duty.
Therefore, even if you have not pre-ordered Battlefield 2042, it seems that you can try the new DIC / EA FPS before leaving. However, we will remain vigilant about a new announcement about an open beta.
